Appointment Cancellations

We understand that circumstances can change and appointments may occasionally need to be rearranged. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.

48+ Hours’ Notice

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time will be eligible for a full refund of any fees paid.

Less Than 48 Hours’ Notice

Appointments cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the appointment fee.

Failure to Attend

Failure to attend an appointment without prior notice may result in the full appointment fee being retained.

Assessment Preparation

Where assessment questionnaires, documentation or preparatory work have already been completed and reviewed, Midlands Mind Clinic reserves the right to retain a reasonable proportion of the assessment fee to cover professional time already undertaken.

Exceptional Circumstances

We recognise that exceptional circumstances may arise. Requests for cancellation fee waivers will be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of Midlands Mind Clinic.

Clinic-Initiated Changes

In the unlikely event that Midlands Mind Clinic needs to cancel or rearrange an appointment, an alternative appointment will be offered as soon as reasonably possible or a full refund will be provided.
